num bairro do Porto. Através de imagens recolhidas, organizadas e visitas aos mesmos locais, constrói-se uma retórica visual que reflete sobre o acesso à habitação, à memória coletiva e às transformações do tecido urbano. Entre passado e presente, o projeto procura evidenciar como uma política habitacional de carácter público permitiu a concretização do direito à habitação para muitas famílias, em contraste com a realidade contemporânea marcada pela especulação imobiliária e pela gentrificação.

The project “Bairro do Viso” stems from a family photographic archive and from the author
place of origin in a neighbourhood of Porto. Through collected and organized images,
alongside visits to the same locations, a visual rhetoric is constructed that reflects on housing access, collective memory, and the transformations of the urban spaces. Positioned between past and present, the project seeks to highlight how a public housing policy once enabled the realisation of the right to housing for many families, in contrast with today’s reality marked by real estate speculation and gentrification.
